This Privacy Policy covers the information Star Movies ("Channel" and/or "We/Us") collects from the users ("Contestants" and/or "You/Your") participating in the " Chillout Nites"( "Contest") hosted on the Star Movies India Facebook page on the "Chillout Nites" tab at the URL www.facebook.com/StarMoviesIndia. ("Facebook Page"). The Privacy Policy is hosted on http://starapps.indya.com/star_movies/chillout_nites/privacy.html and should be read in conjunction with the Terms and Conditions http://starapps.indya.com/star_movies/chillout_nites/tnc.html ("Terms") of the Contest.

The sources of the information collected from the Contestant(s) shall be (a) the basic account information of the Contestant on allowing the "Chillout Nites" Facebook application access to such information (b) the information provided to Us on winning the Contest.

Providing information to Us is Your choice. By uploading and providing Us information on the Facebook Page, You agree to allow Us authorized use of Your information and You agree to abide by the Terms of the Contest.

You always have the ability to have all Your information deleted and to opt-out of receiving communications from Us.

The primary purpose for the collection of information is for the purposes of the Contest. The information submitted by the Contestant will be used by the Channel to intimate the Contestant in the event that he/she is selected a winner of the Contest.

We may also use the information provided by the Contestant for transactional emails or to provide the Contestant with information, direct marketing, online and offline advertising and other materials regarding products, services and other offers from time to time in connection with STAR India Private Limited or its parent, subsidiary and affiliated companies ("STAR Entities") and its joint ventures.

Information Collected:

• You will be providing Us with certain personally identifiable information ("Personal Information"). Personal Information may include, but is not limited to, Your name, address, phone number, age proof, and email address and any other information which the Channel may from time to time require.

Information Sharing and Disclosure:

The Channel is the recipient of all the information and undertakes responsibility for the secure retention of the information provided by the Contestants. The Channel may enable access of the Contestants' information to the STAR Entities, its joint ventures, agents or third parties for the purposes of the Contest or for any other marketing related activity undertaken by or on behalf of the STAR Entities. However, the Channel will not include information received from the Contestants on the Facebook Page in any advertising creative.

If the Contestant wishes to have all the information that he/she has provided to Us deleted, he/she can always do so by sending a request to Us on the e-mail id provided at the bottom of the page.

Compliance with Laws and Law Enforcement:

The Channel shall cooperate with mandated government and law enforcement agencies or any third party by an order under law for the time being in force to enforce and comply with the law. Any information about You will be disclosed to government or law enforcement officials or private parties as We, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate to respond to claims and legal process, to protect the property and rights of the STAR Entities or a third party, to protect the safety of the public or any person, or to prevent or stop any illegal, unethical or legally actionable activity.

Business Transfers:

The Channel will, in no event, sell Your information. We will not directly or indirectly transfer information collected from the Facebook Page to any ad network, ad exchange, data broker or other advertising or monetization related toolset.

Email Policies:

The Channel may use Your information for a variety of marketing purposes and transactional emails. You have full control regarding which of these emails You want to receive. If You decide at any time that You no longer wish to receive such communications from Us, please follow the unsubscribe instructions provided in any of the communications. Please note that once We receive your request, it may take an additional period of time for your opt-out to become effective which will, in no case, be more than ten business days from making the opt-out request.
